Inka Schubert

In 2011, Inka Schubert was part of the team at her former training company who was involved in the reconstruction of Josef Albers' spectacular stained glass windows for the main staircase of the Grassi Museum.

Today, she works part-time at the renowned glass manufacturer F. Schneemelcher in Quedlinburg, which leaves her also time for her own independent work. Here, she takes on challenging tasks in the field of glass processing in the areas of restoration, reconstruction and redesign – church windows, Art Nouveau windows and modern architectural glass design, as well as the design of independent curtain walls.

With great professional enthusiasm and expertise, Inka Schubert is dedicated to a millennia-old craft that has remained young, and she is happy to accept commissions.
